Abstract
⺠Traditional methods of assessing false belief understanding are not suitable for developmentally young children with severe motor impairments. ⺠We examine the use of a new action anticipation and eye-tracking technique with children with quadriplegic cerebral palsy and language delay. ⺠We highlight the potential of this approach for the assessment of socio-cognitive abilities in children characterised as 'hard to assess'.
