Abstract
► Focused on practicing joint attention skills for pervasive developmental disorder (PDD), specifically in the skills of pointing, showing, sharing and interaction. ► Investigated virtual reality environment with data gloves for PDD. ► Developed the Joint Attention Skills Learning (JASL) inventions-systems with data glove tool to help children with pervasive developmental disorder (PDD) to practice joint attention behavior skills. ► Employing single subject multiple-probe design across subjects' designs to observe the changing behaviors of joint attention. ► The results reveal that the participants have further extension in improving the joint attention skills in their daily life after using the JASL system.
