Abstract
⺠We studied the birth weights, diet quality and learning ability in Taiwanese children. ⺠Underweight children are more likely to have been of lower birth weight. ⺠Girls' learning ability and overall competence depend on birth weight and diet. ⺠Better diet reduces the risk of learning inability for lower birth weight girls.
