Abstract
⺠The Dutch translation of the ADAMS is a promising instrument in older adults with ID. ⺠The ADAMS is feasible, reliable and sufficiently valid in older adults with ID. ⺠The Social avoidance subscale seems less reliable than the other four subscales. ⺠To optimize sensitivity and specificity, group-specific cut-offs are necessary.
