Abstract
⺠We assess visual working memory in deaf children with different communication modes. ⺠The task is tested in differential outcome and non-differential outcome conditions. ⺠Deaf employing spoken Spanish or Spanish Sign Language show a poor performance. ⺠Differential outcomes improve visual working memory in deaf and hearing children.
