Abstract
⺠We compare parental regulation towards disabled and typical children in eight problem-solving tasks. ⺠Some specific parental regulatory strategies differ between the two groups. ⺠There is a significant effect mental age and of the medium on parental regulation strategies. ⺠Inter-task variability of parental strategies is observed in each group. ⺠Most strategies are negatively linked with children's performance.
