Abstract
⺠Purpose of the study was to investigate communication deficits in profound ID adults. ⺠Data was collected from 204 adults residing in two supports and services centers. ⺠Significantly more receptive communication skills were endorsed than expressive. ⺠Significantly more receptive communication skills were endorsed than written. ⺠Significantly more expressive communication skills were endorsed than written.
