Abstract
▶ We examined the specific nature of auditory problems in children with dyslexia. ▶ Labeling scores show that the problems are temporal-specific but not speech-specific. ▶ Labeling performance still develops in adolescence, particularly for temporal sounds. ▶ The temporal deficit in dyslexics readers does not enlarge or diminish over time.
