RésuméDans ce travail, nous exposons les résultats obtenus par l’étude technologique du matériel lithique des occupations des débuts de l’Holocène moyen dans la Puna au sud de la province de Jujuy en Argentine. Il s’agit de sociétés de chasseurs cueilleurs spécialisés dans la chasse des camélidés. À travers cette étude comprenant l’analyse de trois niveaux d’un abri-sous-roche et d’un site de surface, nous montrerons la diversité techno-fonctionnelle et productionnelle des schémas opératoires dans son contexte. Les aspects culturels seront également pris en compte et comparés à d’autres régions des Andes Centrales Sud. À travers l’analyse des chaînes opératoires et ses aspects quantitatifs, nous souhaitons mettre en exergue les fonctions d’usage et de signe. Finalement, pour conclure, nous comparerons nos résultats avec les hypothèses proposées par d’autres auteurs concernant les changements paléoenvironnementaux et sociétaux pour cette période dans la région.
In this work we present the results obtained from the study of lithic technology of early mid-Holocene occupations in the south of the Puna of Jujuy Province in Argentina. We are dealing here with hunter-gatherers societies, specialized on camelids hunting. Through this study, including the analysis of three layers of a rockshelter and a surface site, we will show the techno-functional and productional diversity of operative schemes in its context. Cultural aspects are also taken into account and compared to other regions of South Central Andes. Through analyzing the operative channels and quantitative aspects, we wish to highlight the functions of use and sign. Finally, to conclude, we compare our results with the hypotheses proposed by other authors for paleoenvironmental and societal changes for this period in the region.
