Abstract
⺠Trentoncementation furnace successfully makes steel in British North America. ⺠Grate bars from the cementation furnace recovered in site excavation. ⺠Graphite removed from the cast iron structure by internal oxidation. ⺠New mineral species formed within cast iron. ⺠X-ray maps show redistribution of constituents during oxidation.
