Abstract
⺠Backgrounds of increased foraging in settled Neolithic societies is discussed. ⺠Fluctuations in paleohydrologies of River Tisza reconstructed. âºÂ Successively higher floods inferred parallel with site, economic evolution. ⺠Changes were beneficial for the immigration of large bodied ruminants hunted. ⺠Terminal floods might have contributed to the disruption of tells.
