Abstract
▶ We analyze the police profiles of 154,000 drivers in South Korea using covariance and the t-test. ▶ We model differences between drivers whose license was revoked and drivers whose license was suspended. ▶ We find that the suspension group committed traffic violations less often than the revocation group for the following periods. ▶ License suspension might be more effective at increasing compliance to traffic laws than license revocation.
