Abstract
ⶠSafety impact of street and street network characteristics assessed with negative binomial model. ⶠFor all levels of crash severity, street network characteristics correlate with safety outcomes. ⶠDenser street networks are associated with fewer crashes across all severity levels. ⶠMore travel lanes on major streets and increased street connectivity correlated with more crashes. ⶠThe results suggest the value of considering street network characteristics in assessing safety.
