Abstract
ⶠWe analysed single vehicle fatal rollover crashes in three Australian States. ⶠRollovers accounted for 35% of all occupant fatalities in single vehicle crashes. ⶠTripping was the main causes of rollovers with an average 1.2 full turns. ⶠSeatbelt use was less in rural crashes and crash severity greater. ⶠHead injury was the leading cause of death, followed by thoracic and spinal injury.
