Abstract
ⶠChinese drivers' attitudes regarding seatbelt use were explored in five cities in China. ⶠData were collected through interviews, driver observations, and an in-person survey. ⶠQuestions explored reasons why Chinese drivers use or do not use seatbelts. ⶠSuggestions on what would be the best interventions to increase seatbelt use in China were explored. ⶠDemographics, seatbelt use and car crashes/traffic violations were investigated.
