Rehearsal and verbal reminders in facilitating compliance with safety rules

▶ Accident and incidents often occur because a seemingly simple rule is forgotten. ▶ We tested the effect of both a rehearsal and a last minute reminder to improve compliance with a safety rule, within aviation. ▶ A single rehearsal flight with or without a reminder improved compliance with the safety rule. ▶ However, rule compliance reduced when the test flight differed from the target flight.
