Abstract
▶ Show a significant relationship between free flow speed of a heavy vehicle and its GVW. ▶ The relationship is unrelated to size and shape of a heavy vehicle. ▶ Propose a new concept of setting the speed limit for heavy vehicle. ▶ The proposed speed limit incorporates weight parameter. ▶ WIM technology can be fully utilized for implementing the speed limit enforcement.
