Abstract
ⶠA randomised sample was used to evaluate a countermeasure to incorrect child restraint use. ⶠThe use of a restraint fitting service reduces the likelihood of incorrect restraint use. ⶠIncorrect use increases with length of restraint ownership. ⶠResults support the provision of these services by road safety agencies and advocates. ⶠParents should be encouraged to use these services.
