Abstract
â¶ A randomised sample was used to evaluate a countermeasure to incorrect child restraint use. â¶ The use of a restraint fitting service reduces the likelihood of incorrect restraint use. â¶ Incorrect use increases with length of restraint ownership. â¶ Results support the provision of these services by road safety agencies and advocates. â¶ Parents should be encouraged to use these services.
