Abstract
ⶠThe effect of Cruise Control and Adaptive Cruise Control was examined in a driving simulator study. ⶠBoth systems lead to a better compliance with speed limits. ⶠFor both systems delayed reactions are found to relevant stimuli in the environment ⶠHighly automated assistance systems may reduce situation awareness while driving.
