Abstract
â¶ The effect of Cruise Control and Adaptive Cruise Control was examined in a driving simulator study. â¶ Both systems lead to a better compliance with speed limits. â¶ For both systems delayed reactions are found to relevant stimuli in the environment â¶ Highly automated assistance systems may reduce situation awareness while driving.
