Abstract
- Relationship between oxidation products of NP-10 and acute toxicity was studied.
- Comparable NP-10 and TOC removal via the H2O2/UV-C and photo-Fenton processes.
- Polyethylene glycols, aldehydes and C1-C2 carboxylic acids as the oxidation products.
- Lower acute toxicity in the photo-Fenton process as compared to the H2O2/UV-C process.
- Strong correlation between formed carboxylic acids and acute toxicity was found.
