Abstract
- The binding of TO and TBO to tRNA was non cooperative in nature.
- Perturbation of tRNA conformation was observed on binding with the dye molecules.
- The binding was enthalpy driven with negative enthalpy and positive entropy.
- The binding was accompanied by significant heat capacity changes.
- The results showed higher binding of TO to tRNA over TBO by intercalation.
