Abstract
â¶ A solution-based approach is adapted to the synthesis of silver (Ag) nanoparticles by chemical reduction of AgNO3 in graphene oxide (GrO) suspension. â¶ The size and shape of the Ag nanoparticles are dependent on the concentration of the AgNO3 solution. â¶ Ag nanoparticle-GrO hybrid materials show a good antimicrobial activity against the Gram negative bacteria E. coli and P. aeruginosa.
