Abstract
► Ionic-crosslinked polymeric nanocapsules were fabricated via the self-templating approach. ► They exhibited the temperature-responsive characteristics, with LCST of about 31 °C. ► They could disintegrate in acidic media while stable in the neutral or alkaline media.
