Abstract
ⶠHigher extraction of Eu(III) in CMPO-TBP-ionic liquid systems. ⶠLoading of Eu(III) is much higher in ionic liquid medium. ⶠRoom temperature ionic liquid prevents undesirable third phase formation. ⶠStoichiometry varies from 1:3 at trace levels to 1:1 at higher loading. ⶠRequirement of TBP can be minimized with the use of ionic liquid diluent.
