Abstract
ⶠComplete carbofuran degradation in the MW-assisted systems at 80 °C and pH 6. ⶠCarbofuran degradation rate accelerates under alkaline pHs, i.e. pH 8 and 10. ⶠFirst-order kinetics used for modeling carbofuran removal in the MW-assisted system. ⶠPoor carbofuran removal in the presence of only MW, only CH and only MW absorbents. ⶠMW-assisted system helps removing carbofuran via removal of carbamate group.
