Abstract
ⶠA 2D mathematical model has been developed to describe the simultaneous absorption of CO2 and H2S from natural gas using aqueous carbonate solution as the absorbent solvent while utilizing hollow fiber membrane contactors. ⶠReversible and equilibrium reactions have been considered for all species involved in the absorption of CO2 and H2S into aqueous carbonate solution. ⶠA scheme of two membrane modules in series is recommended for the simultaneous absorption of CO2 and H2S.
