Abstract
▶ MF-PAC coupled system is used for advanced treatment of oil-in-water emulsion. ▶ Adding PAC reduces fouling and improves membrane flux because of scouring effect. ▶ Adding PAC has no obvious effect on the removal efficiency of TOC and p-xylene.
