Abstract
In this paper we use the standard Mixture Theory (Theory of Interacting Continua) and Representation Theorems to derive a simple constitutive relationship for the heat flux vector of a mixture composed of a viscous fluid infused with solid granular materials. For certain limiting and specialized cases, an effective thermal conductivity of the mixture is also derived.
