Abstract
⺠Integration of algae based biodiesel production and wastewater treatment. ⺠All tested 14 algae strains were able to grow on centrate wastewater stream. ⺠Top-performing strains were capable of mixotrophic growth on centrate. ⺠Environmental factors had significant effect on biomass and biodiesel production. ⺠Environmental factors had important effect on wastewater nutrient removal by algae.
