Abstract
⺠Silicone membrane systems can be utilized for efficient CO transfer in a MFC. ⺠Enhanced gas transfer leads to higher CO transformation efficiency. ⺠Membrane systems offer the advantage of reduced reactor volumes. ⺠Reduced reactor volumes lead to higher volumetric power output. ⺠Maximum power output of 18 mW LR-1 and CO conversion efficiency of 98% was obtained.
