Abstract
⺠We model the organosolv pulping of the oil palm fronds. ⺠We study the influence of the operational variables on pulp and paper properties. ⺠Utilization of wavelet neural networks (WNNs) show superior predictive ability. ⺠WNNs outperformed polynomial model with a prediction error of less than 6%.
