Abstract
⺠Significant differences in biomass exist among the 23 genotypes of Ricinus communis. ⺠Bioconcentration factor of DDTs was higher in castor than other reported plants. ⺠Among the 23 castor genotypes, B09053 accumulated the highest DDTs and Cd. ⺠Castor is a promising candidate for phytoremediation of DDTs and Cd co-contaminated soils.
