Abstract
⺠We investigate the evolution of organic matter in waste with landfill age. ⺠Right shift occurred at 400-600 °C in DTG profile indicates increasing humification. ⺠TG and FTIR provide information well correlated to chemical parameters of stability. ⺠The combination of TG and FTIR can track the increasing biological stability of MSW.
