Abstract
⺠Isolation of a wild-type strain BOH3 that converts monosaccharides to butanol. ⺠This solventogenic strain also has cellulolytic and xylanolytic capabilities. ⺠Strain BOH3 shows comparable hydrogen production with other thermophilic bacteria. ⺠Provide better understanding of solventogenic performance by Clostridium species.
