Abstract
⺠The flocculation behavior of cationic cellulosic biopolymers, CDACs, were studied. ⺠CDACs possess a high flocculation activity in neutral and acidic solutions. ⺠Low activity and charge decrease in alkaline solutions (pH >9). ⺠Variation of NaCl content and temperature do not affect the flocculation activity. ⺠No notable decrease in activity after several days of storage in water solution.
