Abstract
⺠Rice hull hydrolysate was used as feedstock for microbial lipids production. ⺠The oleaginous fungus Mortierella isabellina is able to convert lignocellulocic biomass into lipids. ⺠Lipid accumulation in the fungal biomass was possible in high percentages. ⺠Microbial oil produced is a promising feedstock for biodiesel production. ⺠Kinetic parameters of M. isabellina were determined using a detail mathematical model.
