Abstract
⺠Effects of the mixed proportion between coal and tobacco residue on the combustion process were studied. ⺠The incorporation of tobacco residue can improve the combustion characteristics of high-ash anthracite coal. ⺠The ignite temperature and ignite index increases with the increase of tobacco residue content in blends. ⺠Co-combustion of tobacco residue and high-ash anthracite coal as fuel is feasible.
