Abstract
⺠Ethyl acetate from waste gases was successfully removed using a membrane bioreactor. ⺠A maximum elimination capacity of 225 g mâ3 hâ1 at an EBRT of 60 s was observed. ⺠Ethanol was detected as by-product of the ethyl acetate biodegradation. ⺠A biomass yield coefficient of 0.80 gC gCâ1 was calculated by the CO2 production.
