Abstract
⺠A hybrid artificial neural network - genetic algorithm numerical technique was successfully developed. ⺠The biodegradation process of Di-n-butyl phthalate was modeled and simulated by the model. ⺠A removal kinetic model including sorption and biodegradation was formulated. ⺠Kinetic parameters were evaluated with batch experiments under anaerobic, anoxic, oxic conditions.
