Abstract
⺠An isolated thermal- and CO2-tolerant microalga, Chlorella sp. MTF-7, grew well in the presence of flue gas. ⺠The growth potential of the microalgal strain could be enhanced by intermittent flue gas aeration. ⺠Microalgal on-site bioremediation of CO2, NO and SO2 in flue gas could reach approximately 60%, 70% and 50%, respectively.
