Abstract
► A novel bacterium, Ochrobactrum sp. T, was isolated from an e-waste recycling site. ► Debromination and biodegradation of TBBPA was investigated in detail. ► A decrease of TOC was observed for TBBPA after 120 h incubation. ► Metabolite of TBBPA were identified. ► One-step process for TBBPA debromination and mineralization mechanism was proposed.
