Abstract
⺠The bioreactor concurrently supported heterotrophic and autotrophic microorganisms. ⺠Cd and Hg from non-point source wastewater were removed by the hybrid bioreactor. ⺠Cd removal was mainly associated with the biofilm formation. ⺠Hg removal was mainly due to the bioaccumulation in macrophytes.
