Abstract
⺠The biodegradation of polylactide (PLA) under different anaerobic conditions was evaluated. ⺠Under thermophilic anaerobic digestion condition, PLA was difficult to be transformed to lactic. ⺠The maximum transformation ratios of the PLAs under hyperthermophilic conditions were 65.2% and 51.8%, respectively. ⺠After hyperthermophilic pretreatment, the net methane conversion ratios of the PLAs were 81.8% and 77.0%, respectively.
