Abstract
⺠Cellulose was extracted from orange peel using sulfite process. ⺠Factorial experimental design and RSM were used to optimize the process parameters. ⺠Extracted celluloses were characterized from the physicochemical standpoint. ⺠Cooking under the optimized conditions resulted in high-quality cellulose materials.
