Abstract
⺠A new process for recovering lignocelluloses of PHL from the kraft-based dissolving pulp production process was proposed. ⺠The adsorption of lignocelluloses on lime mud was a fast process. ⺠The addition of polydiallyldimethylammonium chloride significantly increased the amount of adsorbed lignocelluloses. ⺠The potential impact of the process concept on energy saving of the lime kiln was discussed. ⺠This process could be adapted to decrease the inhibitor concentrations.
