Abstract
⺠This research reveals a set of homogeneous reactions that occur in glucose secondary pyrolysis. ⺠Pyrolysing primary products in a secondary reactor yielded significant gasoline range hydrocarbons. ⺠These hydrocarbons formed even in the absence of a catalyst. ⺠Incorporation of a catalyst into a secondary reactor may add synergy to the deoxygenation process.
