Abstract
► Reed canarygrass specific methane yield was greater than switchgrass-seeded plots. ► Methane yield per hectare responded positively to nitrogen fertilization rate. ► The production of methane per unit area decreased with delayed harvest. ► Weeds in plots confirm the difficulty in establishing switchgrass in Eastern Canada.
