Abstract
⺠Reed canarygrass specific methane yield was greater than switchgrass-seeded plots. ⺠Methane yield per hectare responded positively to nitrogen fertilization rate. ⺠The production of methane per unit area decreased with delayed harvest. ⺠Weeds in plots confirm the difficulty in establishing switchgrass in Eastern Canada.
