Abstract
⺠Saccromyces cerevisiae Y5 was used to produce ethanol from non-detoxified hydrolysate. âºS. cerevisiae Y5 could produce ethanol in high concentration without N-source. ⺠The ethanol concentration reached the benchmark of commercial ethanol production. ⺠Y5 gives the potential to improve the economy of cellulosic ethanol production.
