Abstract
âºMetschnikowia koreensis was found as potent biocatalyst for ketone reduction. ⺠Reduction activity of M. koreensis was increased by fermentation. ⺠Glucose and Zn2+ significantly increased the enzyme activity in shake flask. ⺠High agitation, low aeration and neutral pH assisted the enzyme activity in bioreactor.
