Abstract
⺠This process consumes lower energy than the conventional transesterification in SCA. ⺠The triglyceride conversion was over 98% at the optimal alcohol to oil molar ratio. ⺠The fuel yield enhanced about 4.7% and 12.9% for SCM and SCE process, respectively. ⺠This process is promising method to convert palm oil to aromatic-free biofuel.
